New class in the New Year

I'm really excited about my new class at Prana Shanti. I will be teaching Hatha Gentle on Mondays from 7:30pm to 9pm. Here is the class description. Everyone is welcome.

Hatha Gentle

Rooted in Classical Hatha and Akhanda (holistic) yoga, this class is for those who are stiff and sore, who have injuries or illnesses, and who wish to explore yoga as a way to work through pain and manage health concerns. Taught from a "slow and low" approach, this practice is accessible to people of all sizes, shapes, ages and fitness levels. Classes focus on releasing stress, calming the mind and stretching and relaxing the body. Students will gain flexibility and balance through an exploration of modified postures and use of props. Classes also include pranayama (breathwork) and meditation to further ease the mind and body, as well as chanting to stimulate and harmonize the chakras. You will leave class relaxed and rejuvenated.
